Candidates will be assessed during the course and will complete a written test. \nCourse Elements: Legislation and Regulations\, Equipment and Systems Identification\, Inspection Regimes and Requirements\, Equipment Inspection\, Certification Requirements\, Defective Equipment\, Equipment Storage. \nEquipment Covered: \nHelmets \nRopes \nHarnesses \nConnectors \nSlings \nAscenders/Descenders \nBelay devices inc. ID\, Gri-gri & Grillon \nEnergy absorbing devices \nCourse Duration: 1 Day \nCourse Criteria: The Candidate must: \n• attend the entire course \n• adhere to course content and demonstrate the required practical application techniques \nCertificates awarded after successful completion of the course will be valid for a three year period after which re?certification must take place. \n** Please bring your current PPE kit with you to the course as there will be an afternoon session of practical application. \n  \nThe course: \nFull details of the course will be sent out in advance of the course running. Coffee/tea and a sandwich lunch will be provided.
