In an emergency call 999 and ask for Police then Mountain Rescue
Join the volunteers of Tayside Mountain Rescue Team in celebrating their 50th anniversary on Sunday 27th September at Blair Castle.
Entry starts from just £25, with no minimum sponsorship required — though any extra support is always greatly appreciated.
Give something back to one of the busiest teams in Scotland and help support their lifesaving work through their 50th year and beyond!
There are two walks available:
The Half Hamish (7 miles) – Starting near Blair Castle, this circular route passes through the beautiful woodland of lower Glen Tilt before finishing in front of the castle. Suitable for families and those looking for a shorter day.
The Full Hamish (14 miles) – This circular route also starts near the castle before heading out onto the moors above Glen Banvie and finishing in front of the castle. Suitable for those looking for more of a challenge.
For teams wishing the do the event there is a small group discount available.
The volunteers of Tayside MRT thank you for your support and look forward to seeing you on the day.
Please note the event is organised by Tayside Mountain Rescue Team (MRT) and so all fundraising and proceeds will go to Tayside Mountain Rescue Team.
