Fundraise for Scottish Mountain Rescue

Our incredible supporters set their sights high, doing some amazing things to help us save lives.

Our supporters have:

  • Walked the watershed of Scotland from the Scottish Borders to the North Coast
  • Swam the length of Loch Ness
  • Organised a Ceilidh
  • Summited 100 mountains in 30 days
  • In celebration of a birthday, asked for donations to Scottish Mountain Rescue in lieu of gifts

We are extremely grateful for their support and hope that you will join them. There are lots of ways that you can fundraise for Scottish Mountain Rescue from setting yourself a sponsored challenge to holding an event.

Volunteers are the heart of Scottish Mountain Rescue. They couldn’t do what they do without the support from people like you.

Having always been a keen walker, I was introduced to the hills and mountains through fundraising ventures. I continued my hillwalking adventures and my first encounter with Scottish Mountain Rescue came when a very dear friend was unfortunate enough to slip whilst descending Ben Vorlich and broke her ankle.

I witnessed the dedication and professionalism of these amazing volunteers. Never before had I been so in awe of a group of people. I decided then to fundraise by doing the Great Glen Challenge which I thought to be a highly appropriate event.
