In an emergency call 999 and ask for Police then Mountain Rescue
Scottish Mountain Rescue and our Member Teams spend around £1.5 million annually running our life saving services.
This funding makes it possible for 25 teams, involving 850 volunteers, to operate a lifesaving service 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
As a community of small charitable organisations, donations of just a few thousand pounds can transform projects, and realise Mountain Rescue Team needs for vital new equipment.
Team members put in many hours of their time fundraising on top of all the time they spend training and attending call outs. Getting the news that a donor has pledged their support towards a vital piece of equipment that a team needs, which the team might otherwise have spent years fundraising for, can make an incredible impact! Not only does that mean that the team don’t have to make do with aging and potentially unreliable equipment, but it also reduces the time burden on the team members, who already give so much.
If you would like to give something back, and make a significant difference to Scottish Mountain Rescue and our Member Teams please contact Elsie Riley, Head of Development E-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org Tel: 07846 653000
We will work closely with you to understand how you want to make a difference. Significant donations can be used to support a particular area of our work and we can provide information about current projects and equipment needs for Scottish Mountain Rescue and our Member Teams.
