Saving lives

beyond your lifetime

Every time someone remembers Scottish Mountain Rescue and our Member Teams in their will, their small act of kindness starts a ripple effect that ends in lives being saved and returning people who are lost or injured in the mountains and remote places of Scotland to their families.

Every length of rope helps mountain rescue teams reach out to people who need our help and bring them back to safety.

Every stretcher helps us carry injured hill walkers and mountaineers home to their family.

Every gift in every will helps our volunteer teams rescue people like you. It’s not just our volunteers that save lives, it is people like you who leave us a gift in their will, so that we are ready to respond in the moment we are needed. Whatever you can afford in your will can save lives. And it is so easy: all you have to do is contact your solicitor and include us in you will.

And if you do – a big thank you from Scottish Mountain Rescue, from our volunteers and also from those whose lives you save. Your kindness will live on, providing vital funds for our Mountain Rescue Teams and helping to save lives beyond your lifetime.
