Aberdeen MRT Fundraising Walk 2026

Join the volunteers of Aberdeen Mountain Rescue Team for their annual event to raise funds for the team. There will be 3 walks available exploring the area around beautiful Bennachie – on Saturday 12th September 2026.

Please note the event is organised by Aberdeen Mountain Rescue Team (MRT) and all fundraising and proceeds will go to Aberdeen Mountain Rescue Team.

The three walks available are:

Short Walk – A fairly gentle walk around Millstone hill. £5 entry.

Long Walk – A more challenging route, passing close to the summit of Bennachie itself. £10 entry.

Ranger-Led Walk – This will be around 2km and will concentrate on the flower and fauna to be found around Bennachie. Free entry.
