The London Marathon is one of the world’s most iconic fundraising events, with over 50,000 runners taking to the streets each year. From the electric atmosphere to the unforgettable route past London’s most famous landmarks, it’s an experience like no other.
Scottish Mountain Rescue is delighted to have secured 2 charity places for the TCS London Marathon 2027, and we’re looking for passionate, committed fundraisers to join our team. This is your chance to take on the 26.2-mile challenge, while supporting our 26 volunteer Mountain Rescue Teams to save lives across Scotland.

If you’re lucky enough to secure a place through the public ballot, we’d love for you to run in support of us. You’ll receive full fundraising support and access to our merchandise, and you’re free to raise as much as you like – there is no minimum fundraising target for runners with their own place.
