Your generosity

Saves lives

We work with philanthropists who donate £1,000 or more. Read on to find out more about making a gift.

A relationship based on trust and a sense of shared purpose

Our teams couldn’t do what they do without support. Our volunteers give their time for free but you can help us to make sure they are trained, equipped, insured and supported.  Every contribution, every show of support, helps to ensure that when someone is lost, injured or in danger, highly trained volunteers can respond without hesitation.

You can be part of our team. We build relationships with our donors and supporters based on trust and a sense of shared purpose. We want to keep you updated and involved in our work and we can also arrange visits and meetings with out teams, if this is something that you would like.

Making an impact

Mountain Rescue Teams represent the very best of people, volunteers who give their time, skills and courage to bring other’s home safely often in the most challenging conditions imaginable. Their work give us all peace of mind – whether we are heading into the hills ourselves, or simply knowing that, if the worst happens, someone will be there.

We will work closely with you to understand how you want to make a difference. Donations can be used to support a particular area of our work and we can provide information about current projects and equipment needs for Scottish Mountain Rescue and our Member Teams.

Together we can save lives

Together we protect the lives of everyone who ventures into our beautiful outdoors. Because in the mountains and in life knowing someone has your back makes all the difference.

With rising rescues we need you on our side now more than ever.
